About Business line/Function: Business Management
Position Purpose:
The Business Manager will support the BM team in handling the functional tasks related to headcount and costing budgets for the business units.
Responsibilities
Budget Creation:
- Expertise in preparing the Budget and Forecast – both Cost and Head Counts
- Experience of working on Headcount Monitoring, Resource Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting
- Understanding the impact of the spending planned and informing the impacted stakeholders
- Drive the alignment of headcounts with global and local stakeholders
- Projecting spending and impact analysis for new projects being undertaken
Budget Management:
- Ensuring that spending is aligned to the budget
- Keep an all-round view of the expenses, to understand the fluctuations and mitigate if necessary
- Ensure that the chargeback is agreed with stakeholders
- Address clarifications from stakeholders for budget related queries
- Project / track any over-consumption and assess the impact
- Track the recruitment is in line with the budget while working closely with HR and VMO
- Strong coordination skills to collate different data points from different teams
- Knowledge to analyze and reconcile the data
Generic:
- Ensure timely publication of standardized reports and the delivery of high‑quality presentations for senior management.
- Ability to work with cross-divisional teams and build good working relationships.
- Ability to build controls within the processes and monitor to ensure the adherence of the controls
- Work closely with different Business Management teams in day-to-day activities.
- Ensuring all organizational tools are up to date for time tracking
- Ensure repository of documentation to standardize process and procedures
- Attend stakeholder meetings while ensuring minutes are recorded and tracked to closure
