The Global Markets business of BNP Paribas helps its corporate and institutional clients leverage capital markets across the globe for their financing, risk management and investment needs. Position Purpose
The position is for a business analyst in Matisse Next team.
- Analyse business requirements and provide functional solutions for Treasury & Reconciliation applications.
- Supports operations teams & IT Spoc by helping them analyze the business domain, stocking the product backlog and grooming the product backlog.
- Analyze -business, production, security, and system – requirements, study their impacts and contributes to estimation.
- Writes functional detailed specifications.
- Helps the team & product owner understand, describe problem to be solved by facilitating the discussions.
- Define policies and rules to guide business behavior and decision making.
- Write test cases for each User Story.
- Perform UAT for all functional deliverables

- Strong domain knowledge on Capital Markets with expert insights in Treasury domain
- Expert knowledge in Reconciliation
- Ensures deliverables created as per Quality Management practices followed by the company, or as outlined for the project/release.
- Work with business analysts/users to understand requirements & help the IT team to develop good quality deliverables.
- Good hands-on experience on Agile practices – acting ScrumMaster or Product owner role.
- Prepare BRD's based on the user needs & make sure document is detailed.
- Help the developer to reduce defects in IST/ UAT/production. Quality Focus is high.
- Identify risks and provide mitigation plan. Escalate issues on timely manner to the leads.
