WMIS Hub Operations Division is in-charge of the maintenance and support of WM Back-office applications, primarily Olympic, which is the Core banking/accounting system of BNP Paribas Wealth Management. Olympic is an integrated banking system with a real-time accounting module and several transactional modules: General Ledger, Securities, Foreign Exchange, Treasury, Money Transfers, Credit Retail, and Corporate Action.

Position Purpose

Under the responsibility of the Credit RISK Division manager, the Senior Business Analyst (BA) will be a key staff member of our programme managing Credit & Risk systems. The 3 main missions of the Senior BA will be to

-      Lead the elaboration of functional solutions with users, Project Manager, Business Management and IT managers

-      Bring added value to both the IT tools functionality and operational processes

-      Lead projects with rigor and high level standards on deliverables

The Senior BA will interact with Project Manager  located in Singapore, and development and delivery team in Chennai. He will ensure the global responsibility of evolutions and projects, while complying with WMIS norms and Standards. He or She will be the privileged contact for Project manager to support him in the following  tasks .

-      Prepare and organize project committee

-      Requirements gathering and general functional specifications writing

-      Coordinate all teams working on the same projects, jointly with IT team leaders

-      Coordinate, supervise and perform Users Acceptance Tests (UAT) related to new implementations

-      Ensure and anticipate the training, deployment plan and Change Management

-      Ensure the good relationship with business sponsors and stakeholders on each location

Responsibilities

In particular, the Senior BA will:

o   Work in close relationship with the Business Analysis Project manager in charge of the solution to define the requirements to be analysed and described

o   Gather needs from users  for Credit RISK systems ; participate and prepare workshops with users ( by phone /visio)

o   Be-proactive in the analysis of needs (comparison to existing features, propose different ways to answer the needs, understand the need in an end-to-end perspective, to retro-documentation on existing features to understand the as-is,..)

o   Write functional specifications and build the functional solution; share with the PM

o   Liaise with the IT DEV team to ensure the functional requirements are clearly understood for technical design

o   Review the solution design with IT development team

o   Help Prepare UAT

o   Ensure new requirements are in line with architecture principals

o   Clarify the change requests

o   Contribute to the deployment of the solution in all sites – Manage the convergence of process/ solutions among locations to ensure the solution could be deployed in different locations

o   Actively contribute to global solutions definition and its breakdown into each location

o   Contribute to increase standardization of IT tools and processes within all Wealth Management locations

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

o   Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal applications to analyze information needs and functional requirements to deliver the following artifacts as needed: Functional specifications with Use Cases, Screens design and Interface design.

o   Define requirements focusing on user needs rather than user solution expectations, using various appropriate tools: interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios and business analysis

o   Drive and challenge business units on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans

o   Strong analytical and project management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.

o   Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, managers, and subject matter experts.

o   Develop requirements specifications according to standard templates & methodology

o   Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyse tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.

o   Be the liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams
