What would be your typical day at BNPP Paribas look like?
Primary Role Responsibilities
Receive client applications and verify the credit facility limit or obtain bank line approval through the ECB system.
Coordinate with the off shoring team in Mumbai (GTFO) for document verification, vigilance checks, transaction booking, and payment processing.
Liaise with the local compliance team, providing the information needed to obtain approvals for any hits identified by filtering or screening tools.
Communicate with clients to request revisions when discrepancies are found in LC documents.
Issue credit advice and submit settlement requests for receivable and payable amounts.
Prepare and submit local regulatory reports. Serve as backup for the Supply Chain Financing program.
Other contributions
Ensure compliance with all internal and external regulatory and compliance requirements.
Adhere to Group policies related to financial security and perform the associated operational controls.
Comply with BNP Paribas IT security policies.
What is required for you to succeed?
Basic knowledge of international trade rules and practices, including UCP 600, URDG 758, ISP 98, ISP, Incoterms, and URR 725.
At least five years of experience in trade operations.
