We provide support services, back-office operations services related to or which further the accomplishment of the corporation’s investment services, banking transaction processing, and equity investment.

Position Purpose 

The role exists as part of the Manila Middle Office static data team and will be responsible to perform static set-up and maintenance activity within the Middle office applications as a part of the BAU requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • An SME in performing various static setup activities across all in scope applications, clients and timezones 
  • Develop a strong understanding of all upstream and downstream processes, systems and stakeholders involved
  • Ensure awareness and conformance to the KPIs and KRIs of the team
  • Ensure to have diligent monitoring of the static setup queries / instructions received to take appropriate actions as required
  • Ensure to raise any queries / clarifications on the instruction in case of any ambiguity on the instructions / missing information
  • Ensure all static setup activities are driven in conjunction with the standard operating procedures
  • Ensure all Cash related static setup activities goes through the callback controls as described in the SOP
  • Ensure the checklist across all activities are completed on a timely manner
  • Ensure all critical controls viz, callback, cash SSI’s, DLP’s, checklist (not limited to) have a heightened focus. 
  • Ensure awareness of the Risk and control framework that exists within the team 
  • Ensure eye to detail in managing various activities within the process
  • Contribute to produce relevant MI with accurate and relevant details 
  • Ensure to report on any Incidents / near miss cases to the manager of the team on the day of discovery of the Incident
  • Ensure manager is proactively updated across all critical topics in BAU
  • Contribute to produce relevant MI with accurate and relevant details
  • Proactive in managing risk and Incident management
  • Act as a SPOC for audit and other assignments for the team
  • Ensure effective communication to all the parties involved
  • Ensure the skill matrix and training plans are upto date for self
  • Contribute towards process enhancements / improvements ideas
  • Ensure periodic review of procedures, checklist, BCP documents etc are carried out and changes incorporated as required
  • Willingness to take on other duties as assigned by the managers
  • Participate in the BCP testing for the team
  • Ensure all mandatory trainings are completed ahead of the deadline

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

  • Overall understanding of the business model driven for an Asset manager / Asset owner clients
  • Hands on experience in Static setup and referential activities for Asset Owner / Manager clients
  • Good product knowledge across Listed Securities, Money market, Derivatives including the relevant Swift messages viz, MT54X, MT3XX, MT202, MT210, MT103
  • Zeal to learn new things
  • Must be prepared to work in flexible timings viz, APAC, EMEA, Americas
  • Good communication skills
  • Willingness to act as subject matter expert
