BNP Paribas Corporate & Institutional Banking provides large companies, multinationals and financial institutions with various solutions in the areas of advisory, financing, transactional banking, capital markets, settlement, clearing and custody of securities, asset and fund management services and solutions for corporate issuers. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
ORIGINATION
Assist in the origination of LBOs, refinancing, recap and other event driven financing deals for Leveraged Finance clients (Sponsor and Corporate) across debt products (e.g. TLB, HYB, bank loan), preparing pitch books
Track macroeconomic and debt market developments, specifically monitoring TLB and HYB activity
Develop and nurturing your network (internal and external)
EXECUTION
Actively contribute to the day-to-day execution of Leveraged Finance deals, including both TLB and HYB mandates, from inception to closing
Handle (under the supervision of a senior deal team member) the overall internal credit approval process, including writing-up of credit memos and presenting to Credit Committee
Manage transactions post-closing and dedicated portfolio management activity (e.g. Annual Reviews, Quarterly Reviews, Waiver Requests and Restructurings) as relevant
OTHER
Support the overall Leveraged Finance Franchise, fostering a positive team spirit and collaboration / fertilisation across teams and countries and actively contributing to transversal projects
Assist the management, development and training of more junior team members (e.g. interns, graduates and analysts)
Ensure data quality under your control/responsibility in the various BNPP databases
Comply with applicable laws, regulatory requirements, procedures, Group compliance standards, as well as with the 7 themes and the anti-corruption addendum of the Code of Conduct: Customers‘ interest, Financial Security, Market Integrity, Professional ethics, Respect for Persons, Group Protection, and Involvement within Society - and notably the completion of mandatory trainings in due time
