Job Title: Associate, Corporate Credit Analyst

Location: 787 7th Avenue, New York, NY 10019

Duties: Perform credit analysis and prepare thorough and in-depth credit memoranda for assigned sector clients. Manage and monitor credit quality of client portfolios and provide solid recommendations to support decision makers. Analysis of borrowers’ yearly and quarterly financial statements, financial covenant compliance certificates, historical series, quantitative ratio analyses and performance metric assessment Analyze quantitative historical data to perform forward looking projections at company-specific and sector level. Evaluate clients/transactions for risk-related changes of counterparty rating, recovery at default, and applicable regulatory facility rating. Drive the credit process for new origination activity for prospects, new clients and existing relationships including new transactions, annual reviews, facility renewals, amendment and waiver requests as well as quarterly monitoring updates. Maintain reporting related to assigned portfolio including loan exposure tracking, regulatory related requirements, and others for internal/external uses. Liaise with coverage and product groups to establish new lines of credit. Ensure thorough credit assessment and efficient turnaround of transactions. Formulate projection models to perform forward looking analysis. *Telecommuting permitted 40%: work may be performed within normal commuting distance from the BNP Paribas 787 office in New York, NY.

SALARY:   $125,000 – $155,000 / year

Work Schedule: 9am to 5pm, 40 hours a week. (Monday – Friday)

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or Foreign Equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, or related field and three (3) years of experience in job offered or related role OR Master's degree (U.S. or Foreign Equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, or related field and one (1) year of experience in job offered or related role. Must have three (3) years of experience (or 1 with Master’s) with the following: corporate credit and finance; financial statement analysis; credit analysis; financial and projection modeling; corporate finance, economic, and industry analysis; and corporate credit deal cycle monitoring. Must have six (6) months of experience with structuring/assessment of Syndicated and Bilateral lending facilities.
