Job Title: Associate

Location: 787 7th Avenue, New York 10019

Duties: Monitor credit quality of corporate clients’ portfolios. Formulate projection models. Liaise with coverage and product groups to establish new lines of credit. Perform credit analysis and prepare credit memoranda. Interact with the Risk department, Bankers and Product Teams to ensure an in-depth and thorough credit assessment and efficient turnaround of transactions. Execute new transactions and amendments to credit agreements. Maintain reporting related to assigned portfolio: exposure tracking, regulatory related requirements, and other reports for internal/external uses. Train Analysts. Present portfolio company performance to senior management at quarterly review meetings. *Telecommuting permitted 40%: work may be performed within normal commuting distance from the BNP Paribas office in New York, NY.

SALARY:  $125,000 -$155,000/ year

Work Schedule: 9am to 5pm, 40 hours a week. (Monday – Friday)

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or Foreign Equiv.) in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field (in lieu of a 4-year Bachelor’s degree, will accept a 3-year degree from an accredited U.S. or foreign university) and three (3) years of experience in offered or related role(s). Must have 3 years of experience with the following: Corporate finance; financial statement analysis; credit analysis; company, economics, and industry analysis; credit monitoring; and explaining complex transactions. Must have 1 year of experience with the following: exposure to financial modeling; and exposure to deal structuring and execution.
