Job Title: AVP - Principal Lending- Collateral Management

About Business line/Function: Market and Financing Services (MFS) business line provides a range of solutions to support the increasingly sophisticated requirements of institutional investors, alternative asset managers and financial intermediaries. These include Securities Lending (Agency and Principal), Foreign Exchange (On demand FX, Auto FX, Passive Currency Overlay), Triparty Service and a variety of Financing solutions.
Position Purpose: Associate will be responsible for performing daily tasks related to corporate action process carried out in the principal lending department. He/ She will work on the daily tasks, monitor the corporate action events, and process the election across counterparties for voluntary events and book trades for Mandatory events directly reports to the Team Manager of the Corporate action. The staff will be working closely with Paris management, Relationship management, Front office, and external Brokers /counterparties as part of their daily BAU.

Operations
· Responsible for full back office operational functions of Collateral management operation across region
· Foster relationships across multiple areas in the firm including trading desks, operations, technology, compliance departments and global groups to standardize the processes.
· Enable brain-storming sessions with N-1s to identify recurring issues that impact Client and their desired level of services.
· Ensure procedures and skill matrixes are updated to-date, monitor the knowledge base of each team, and ensure there are no operational dependencies.
· Be a role model and act with high standards by being accountable and by taking ownership.
Contributing Responsibilities
Risk Management
· Monitor the team's performance and quality of delivery against the agreed SLAs and standards Follow up on cash, trade & position breaks, pending fee payments of the activities.
· Closely monitor the non-cover report of collateral management and ensure sensitive clients with high book values are given extra care.
· Identify the pain points and implement the fixes and adequate control measures to maximize the standards to meet Client's desired level.
· Manage internal and external audit and own up the finding and recommendation and steer it until completion Implement temporary/strategic fix to reduce risk and manual work via consultative approach with Global stakeholders.
· Co-ordinate on all Audit related activities related to the perimeter and ensure results are "General Satisfactory."
· Fair understanding of the regulatory environment and upcoming changes.
Governance
· Conduct Monthly Service Level Calls with Paris Global Heads and conduct Weekly Management calls with N-1s to cascade management communications and receive key operational inputs, issues and incident follow ups
· Plan and define Business continuity Plan for each function to address a possible Extreme Risk Scenario
· Going beyond individual objectives for the benefit of the bank.

· Ensure objectives are set for the staff, monitors & review performance conduct interim and annual performance reviews, and fair CRP exercise.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and strong MS Excel skills required.
· Proficient in Swift tools and Banking applications
· Knowledge in securities operations and custody.

Specific Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in commerce or Equivalent with minimum 12 yrs of experience.
Skills Referential (Required knowledge, skills and abilities)
Technical Skills:
· Good knowledge of MS office – Excel and power Point and added advantage if knows Power BI.
· Good product knowledge of Security Lending and collateral & Exposure management
· Able to understand the Intellimatch lines breaks and good knowledge of SWIFT.
