This partnership ranges from sharing the IT workload, executing global strategy to owning global applications offshore. Position Purpose:
Position is to fulfill requirement of Senior Developer (AVP) covering Python, Java, SQL skillset in ISPL GM IT Allegro Dev team covering data platform and visualization tool used mainly by Global Equities but increasingly by other areas of Global Markets. Role expects needful exposure on design/ implementation / enhancements of software applications with known best practices addressing requirements. Need to support trading and sales users of Allegro in APAC and to ensure the stability of the platform. In addition, it will involve working on the development of the Allegro platform and contributing to the rollout across Global Markets. Need to own application deliveries with needful technical and domain expertise by working closely with developers and Leads across different geographical locations of team and Front office Traders/ Desk to cover target DEV deliverables in application road map and support.

Direct Responsibilities
The role will require an accomplished Java, Python, SQL Developer covering below responsibilities -
• Be available before 09:00am Hong Kong time to ensure the availability of the Allegro platform and support users in APAC at the start of the trading day
• Ensure the overall stability of the platform and identify and resolve any issues related to platform availability or data loading.
• Build good relationships with the various user groups including trading and sales, and work with them to resolve any issues they may face.
• Ensure assigned deliveries to implement in Allegro platform by onboarding new datasets and users
• Working as “One team” approach with Developers and team lead across different locations to implement new functionality following standards based on information provided by specifications from assigned tasks.
• Work directly with FO Trading teams part of application DEV and Support.
• Own the full development lifecycle, from requirements gathering with traders to deployment and production support.
• Ensure to follow technical and architecture standards where applicable during assigned deliveries implementation on time
• Owning application knowledge library (wiki) and keep up to date in line with enhancements in each sprint.
• Ensure to own and follow governance practices in place for DEV team and continuous learning.
• Train juniors in team in order to ensure knowledge sharing and backup.
• Adopt and Own to the strategic direction of the new platform
• Ensure assigned deliveries are fulfilled with target definition of done coverage (Impact analysis/ solution identification/ documentation/ estimation/ implementation/ testing/ peer review/ e.t.c)

- Contribute in identification of technical debt of application and to plan for addressing the same on time.
- Contribute towards initiatives to improve processes and delivery.
Specific Qualifications:
• Minimum 12 years of experience along with Master Degree or equivalent experience.
• Prior experience in similar domain.

· Capital markets and derivatives products knowledge with prior experience in relative applications (Front Office/ Middle Office/ Back Office) in Capital Markets domain and working with FO Traders/ Desk.
