Position Purpose
Position Objective:
Responsible for managing HR Accounting, related Audits, other payroll operations assigned and Statutory Compliances in accordance with internal guidelines and external regulatory framework.

- Payroll Operations & Benefits:
- Ensure all payroll and other HR related accounting entries are correctly passed
- Ensure timely and accurate Full & Final Settlements
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of Actuarial valuation inputs for Leave Encashment, Deferred Bonuses, etc
- Closely liaise with C&B/Finance Leads of entities, HR Business Partners and HRSS on accounting and other payroll related matters
- Checker for all statutory payments to be done within the timelines
- Attend to internal and external audits and provide all the required information in a timely manner
- Liaise with IT for transaction processing
- Adhere to the monthly accounting controls framework and provide the information to Finance
- Review aged, abnormal and irregular accounting balances on regular basis and ensure clearing entries are posted on a timely basis
- Prepare MIS related to HR accounting
- Represent the Company before Statutory Authorities, if required.
- Employee Interaction:
- Interact with Employees on assigned Payroll Operations related matters
- Interact with Finance / Auditors for any queries/information required
- Team Management:
- Guide and set objectives for the subordinates
- Strengthen maker-checker controls
- Review performance

- Service Provider Liaison:
- Ensure appropriate information flow to and from with service providers.
- Monitor accuracy and quality provided by putting in place appropriate controls, provide inputs on improvisation of service
- Process Service Provider invoices and ensure accuracy in payments.
- Transformation :
- Actively contribute to process review and simplification/automation projects for process transformation
- Actively contribute to HR tools transformation
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
