About Business line/Function: Asset Management – Trade Support
Position Purpose:
BNP Paribas Asset Management is part of BNP Paribas Group and is responsible for the process of managing and monitoring assets, on behalf of individual and corporate clients. BNPP AM offers funds and mandates towards its clients. These funds & mandates are managed by Portfolio Managers, who are based in different locations across the globe.
The mission of AMO is to organize and perform, as a global service provider, the operations activities for portfolio management and the associated reporting in a regulatory compliant, risk controlled, qualitative and efficient way.
The role of the different Transaction Processing teams (Trade Support, Collateral & Derivatives Support and Security Financing Operations) within AMOis essential to ensure that all transactions are correctly reflected in the position keeping tools, meaning they should be accurate and in line with service providers and client expectations.
The Trade Support team is part of the Transaction processing team which is responsible for delivering excellent support to the Investment teams , along with a range of additional support services.[SJ1] The Trade Support function specifically provides support and expertise for the outsourced trade support process, ensuring accurate position keeping, coordinating internally with various stakeholders and investigating discrepancies.
Trade support activities in the scope of this team include :
• OTC Trade Support;
• Listed Trade Support;
• UCITS Trade support;
• Middle Office Services, Derivatives Clearing
Direct Responsibilities
The OTC Trade Support activity covers the following tasks:
¡ Ensure all OTC trades are accurately captured, booked and transmitted to the outsourced service providers.
¡ Oversight of OTC electronic confirmations
¡ OTC lifecycle related tasks for internal and delegated portfolios
¡ Timely follow-up with outstanding trades in line with EMIR regulation (European Market Infrastructure Regulation)
¡ Investigate and resolve breaks related to the OTC scope
¡ Oversight of the timeliness and correctness of the KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) & dashboard
¡ Working closely with BNPP Securities Services (BP2S) / Clearing House for trade support services, ensuring the service received meets the required standards.
¡ Work with Dealing Services and Investments to ensure high quality service and to reduce risk and improve the quality of trade data received.
¡ Act as point of escalation for the trading desk, portfolio managers and internal teams for OTC trade support related topics
¡ Timely escalation of OTC trade support related issues to all relevant parties (front office, legal, risk, BP2S etc) ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
¡ Assistance in OTC trade support related projects, exception management and ad hoc tasks.
The Listed and UCITS Trade Support activity covers the following tasks:
¡ Ensure all Listed and UCITS (Undertakings for the Collective Investment in Transferable Securities) trades are accurately captured, booked and transmitted to the outsourced service providers.
¡ Amend and book corrections on trades, follow up and payment for CFDs (Contract For Differences), follow up and process NDFs (Non-Deliverable Forwards) fixing
¡ Investigate and resolve breaks related to Listed and UCITS scope
¡ Providing specialist support to the trading desk and portfolio managers, i.e. pre & post trade support (trade settlements)
¡ Monitoring and oversight of the Fund of Fund (UCITs) trading process.
¡ GUA agreements (Give Up Agreements) and onboarding processes
¡ Working closely with BNPP Securities Services (BP2S) / Clearers for trade support services, ensuring the service received meets the required standards.
¡ Work with Dealing Services / GTF and Investments to ensure high quality service and to reduce risk and improve the quality of trade data received.
¡ Act as point of escalation for portfolio managers for trade support related topics
¡ Timely escalation of trade support related issues to all relevant parties (front office, legal, risk, BP2S etc.) ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
¡ Assistance in trade support related projects, exception management and ad hoc tasks.
¡ Manage the claims received from counterparties, challenging the investigation already done and following them through payment and resolution

Specific Qualifications:
