Job Title: Assistant Manager – Graduate Program Manager, Technology

Position Purpose:
- The role will be responsible for the end-to-end program management and experience of Technology Interns and Graduate hires, from onboarding through their development journey and rotations until they transition into their permanent Technology roles.
- The role will typically manage a participant journey of approximately 18 months, ensuring a structured, consistent and high-quality experience across Technology verticals.
Responsibilities:
Direct Responsibilities
- Own the complete lifecycle of Technology Interns and Graduates, including onboarding, induction, training, rotations, performance and productivity management, compensation processes and eventual transition into permanent roles.
- Develop and maintain the overall program calendar, milestones, governance and operating rhythm across the approximately 18-month graduate journey.
- Ensure consistent execution of the program across different Technology businesses and locations while accommodating relevant business-specific requirements.
- Design and coordinate a strong onboarding and induction experience, ensuring participants understand the organization, Technology landscape, culture, expectations and career opportunities.
- Maintain regular engagement with participants, identify experience gaps and proactively address issues that could affect development, performance or retention.
- Build a strong sense of cohort and community across the intern and graduate population.
- Partner with Technology SMEs and Learning teams to ensure the curriculum remains relevant to evolving Technology capabilities and business requirements.
Rotation Management
- Manage graduate rotations across Technology verticals, working closely with business leaders and HRBPs to identify suitable assignments.
- Track participant performance and development across rotations and facilitate effective handovers between managers.
- Establish a structured performance-management framework for interns and graduates, including objectives, regular feedback, performance reviews and development interventions.
- Track productivity and readiness indicators as participants progress through the program.
Work with managers to address performance gaps and ensure appropriate development actions are implemented.
Stakeholder & Leadership Engagement
- Build strong relationships across Technology verticals and act as the principal program interface with Technology leaders, managers, HRBPs and HR COEs.
- Create structured opportunities for senior leaders to interact with the cohorts and provide input into their development.
- Provide leadership with clear dashboards and updates covering program progress, participant performance, experience, retention and key risks.
Compensation & Program Governance
- Coordinate compensation and other relevant people process for interns and graduates in partnership with Compensation & Benefits and HR teams.
- Ensure consistent application of program principles, policies and governance across Technology verticals.
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
- Strong program and project management capability
Specific Qualifications:
- Preference for Engineering degree strongly and an understanding of Technology disciplines and the ability to engage effectively with Technology stakeholders.
- Approximately 5 years of relevant professional experience, preferably including exposure to one or more of the following: HR Business Partnering within a Technology organization / Graduate / Early Careers Program Management / Compensation & Benefits / Learning and talent development
Skills Referential (Required knowledge, skills and abilities)
- Ability to manage multiple cohorts, stakeholders and milestones simultaneously
- Good understanding of the Technology environment and technology talent
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to engage credibly with senior Technology leaders
- Understanding of core HR processes including performance, compensation, learning and talent management
- Strong analytical capability and comfort working with program and workforce data
- Excellent communication, facilitation and presentation skills
- Ability to work across organizational boundaries and influence without direct authority
Education Level: MBA / postgraduate qualification in Human Resources preferred.
