Job Title: Assistant Manager

Department: Alt Assets

About Business line/Function: This team acts as the data agent who translates data to match with the standard target format in order to use implemented data flows and existing interfaces. This team populates data in the required templates format for asset valuation, Tenancy schedule and property accounting of assets in “Non Yardi Managed” scope and to ensure their proper integration in Alts systems.

Position Purpose: The successful candidate will be an experienced manager driving process improvements with a collaborative management style and ability to create a positive team environment.

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

Valuation:

  • Populate data in the Valuation template (asset level only) for the assets in scope and generate related csv file
  • Load the csv file into RAP transfer and ensure successful integration
  • Consult and correct any blocking errors and warnings 
  • Load PDF reports of asset valuations if required
  • Maintain a follow up file to monitor all assets in scope have been tackled based on the valuation frequency
  • Contact FMCG contacts to get data to be populated in the template in due date

Property accounting:

  • Populate data in PAP template for the assets in scope and generate related csv file
  • Load the csv file into RAP transfer and ensure successful integration until Yardi
  • Correct blocking errors and warnings 
  • Maintain a follow up file to monitor all assets in scope have been tackled
  • Contact FMCG contacts to get data to be populated in the template in due date
  • Transfer result from previous year In Yardi
  • Check data are populated in Yardi and correspond to the original data
  • Reverse journals in Yardi if needed
  • Contribute to the mapping of the accounting data between the Local system and Yardi and maintain record keeping throughout this process.

Tenancy schedule:

  • Populate data in “PRP 1” template for the assets in scope and generate related csv file
  • Load the csv file into RAP transfer and ensure successful integration
  • Correct blocking errors and warnings 
  • Maintain a follow up file to monitor all assets in scope have been tackled
  • Contact Asset Controlling contacts to get data to be populated in the template in due date

Contributing Responsibilities

  • Prepare and provide weekly mails with load status updates
  • Oversight and accountability for day-to-day processing of the team, ensuring excellent client service and risk management
  • Compliance with local and global regulations and market standards
  • Ensure adherence to internal risk and control frameworks, participating in internal/external audits and various internal control testing
  • Developing team members and creating an environment that encourages innovation and supports personal growth for team members 
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
  • Compilation of monthly statistics to manage the business, ensuring KPIs are met or remediation plans are in place
  • Ensure any deviation from our standard operating models are formally agreed internally and documented with the onshore oversight location

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

  • Excellent computer skills with various software packages including Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English
  • Very rigorous, with strong organizational competencies
  • Taking initiatives & Service orientated mentality 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, good listening skills
  • Determined to facilitate situations in order to achieve results
  • A previous experience in a similar role including team management would be greatly beneficial
  • Strong organisational and attention-to-detail orientation; capable of managing competing deadlines

Specific Qualifications:

  • Having market related qualifications such as CPA, CFA qualifications would be desirable

    • ERP & Specialized Accounting Software Proficiency (Yardi/RAP)
    • Advanced Data Reconciliation & Audit Compliance

Education Level: Degree qualified in Business, Finance, Accounting or related discipline is preferable.
