About BNL:

BNL's Information Technology (IT) Area is a partner of the bank and the companies of the BNL BC Group for the digital evolution of operational and business models through the design, planning and implementation of distinctive, reliable and sustainable technological solutions. 

IT Production Unit reports functionally to the ITG (Informatique Technologies Groupe) department of the parent company, is functionally responsible for the IT structures of the companies of the BNL BC Group and coordinates the IT community of the BNPP Group in Italy, with the aim of obtaining all possible synergies of purpose , ensure full operational consistency and enable the digital transformation of our Group. As part of IT Production BNL, Application Production is responsible for supporting the IT production applications for BNL.

BNL CTO Office  - Open Data and Monitoring ensure local convergence to Products and technological standards required by the Group (Dynatrace and Log as a Service tools). Manage the evolution of the CMDB to guarantee Asset data reliable in supporting IT Service Management operational processes. Assure the BAU of IT Obsolescence governance. Implement the Master Data Management framework and the related data quality controls.

Position Purpose

The primary purpose of the position will be to support BNL CTO Office – OD and Monitoring teams in their CHANGE activities, primarily: 

-          Evolution of monitoring BNL Applications 

o   Dynatrace evolution

o   Log As A Service implementation

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

·       Ensuring smooth and efficient transition of IT projects during the operational phase

·       Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve potential issues during the transition process

·       Continuously improving transition and methodologies to optimize efficiency and effectiveness

·       Coordinate closely with Rome IT Application Production Teams working on IT Evolution program and all other BNL BNP Paribas IT teams

·       Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·       Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities

·       A proactive and results-driven approach to work

Contributing Responsibilities

·       Help build team spirit and integrate into BNL BNP Paribas culture

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

For the reinforcement of our team, we are looking for an Application Production Supports with these skills:

1.       IT monitoring Expert – Open Environment:

o   Excellent knowledge of the ELK stack to implement and enhance dashboards, alerts and reports to meet requirements of business users:

·       Elasticsearch (index management, query DSL)

·       Logstash (data processing pipeline)

·       Kibana (data visualization, alerts and dashboards)

o   Good knowledge of Dynatrace:

·       Digital Experience Monitoring (DEM):

-  Include Real User Monitoring (RUM) and Synthetic Monitoring, to understand how real users and applications interact and perform.

·       Application Performance Monitoring (APM):

-  The ability to monitor application performance at code level and analyze application transactions.

·       Infrastructure Monitoring:

-  Include the monitoring of servers, containers, cloud services, and their performance.

·       Log Analysis:

-  The ability to analyze logs to identify problems and causes of error.

·       The ability to provide end-to-end observability across cloud environments, monitoring applications, infrastructure, networks, and logs.

·       Implement and enhance dashboards, alerts and reports

o   Skills on concepts of:

·       DevOps automation (Jenkins & Ansible)

·       Familiarity with REST API

·       Container concepts 

·       IBM cloud (Platform as a Service)

o   Operating System:

·       RedHat Linux 7.x, 8.x and 9.x 

·       Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019 

General competences:

-  Knowledge of ITIL

-  General IT infrastructure knowledge

-  Problem-solving, analytical thinking, effective communication and adaptability,

-  Service Now ticketing system
