Position Purpose: Looking for a highly skilled candidate with 7+ years of experience to join our dynamic development team as an AI Engineer. In this role, the candidate will architect and deploy autonomous and semi-autonomous AI agentic systems designed to automate complex Service Request application features and orchestrate multi-step processes across enterprise data. This is an exceptional opportunity for a candidate to drive innovation in Agentic AI, RAG pipelines, and LLMOps within a high-scale, regulated corporate and institutional banking environment.
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy autonomous and semi-autonomous AI agents that automate Service Requests and orchestrate multi-step processes across enterprise data.
- Implement permission-aware tool adapters, bounded autonomy, guard-rails, escalation mechanisms, and full audit-logging to satisfy AML and security compliance.
- Build production-grade Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines involving chunking, embedding, hybrid search, semantic retrieval, and re-ranking using vector databases (pgvector, Qdrant, Pinecone, Weaviate).
- Create reusable LLM abstraction layers that support multiple model providers and open-weight models, including model routing, fall-backs, rate-limiting, and token-consumption optimization.
- Design and implement robust state and memory management for autonomous agents, handling checkpointing, persistent context storage, and scalable memory-access patterns.
- Engineer scalable backend services and APIs (Python, FastAPI, async) that integrate with Service Request systems, databases, and external APIs using reliable patterns like background jobs, message queues, and idempotency.
- Design and operate AI-infrastructure and LLMOps pipelines, including containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes, Helm, Argo CD), and observability (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
- Provide technical leadership by owning end-to-end architecture, conducting code/architecture reviews, and mentoring junior engineers.
- Continuously evaluate emerging agentic-AI frameworks, models, and deployment technologies for product relevance.
Contributing Responsibilities
- Defining and monitoring agent/LLM performance metrics (accuracy, latency, cost).
- Developing reusable frameworks and standards for agentic AI across the organization.
- Participating in systematic A/B testing and optimization techniques (semantic caching, context compression).

- Agentic AI & LLM Engineering: Mastery of LangGraph / LangChain, tool-calling, task decomposition, state management, and multi-agent orchestration.
- RAG & Data Retrieval: End-to-end RAG pipeline design, prompt optimization, grounding, and proficiency with vector databases (pgvector, Qdrant, Pinecone, or Weaviate).
- Backend & Integration: High-availability microservices (Python, FastAPI/Flask), event-driven pipelines (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and secure API-gateway configuration.
- Cloud-Native & DevOps: Deep experience with Docker, Kubernetes (Helm, Argo CD), CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Jenkins), and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Pulumi).
- Machine Learning Foundations: Practical knowledge of scikit-learn, PyTorch, or TensorFlow, and model lifecycle management using MLflow.
- Observability & Monitoring: Proficiency with Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK/Loki stacks.
- Security & Governance: Implementation of permission-aware execution, audit logging, and adherence to AML/GDPR/Risk-management policies.
