We are seeking an experienced staff in Communication Surveillance (voice / electronic) based in Hong Kong. This role involves day-to-day IT support to the bank's control and compliance functions which are responsible for communication surveillance. The support tasks include Business Analysis and Development work on the bank's communication surveillance platforms. The job requires very close communication and co-ordination with such control and compliance functions as well as the bank's head office surveillance IT teams to ensure alignment with global standards. This role will also need to support project and enhancement initiatives.
The candidate will be part of a Surveillance IT team in APAC and supported by an IT Application Support team. The candidate will contribute to the key updates to the APAC Surveillance IT in both local and global governance committees, overseeing both BAU and project activities within the scope. Technical fluency and project management skills are essential. The role includes significant involvement in the deployment of the next-generation surveillance systems, as APAC IT representative.
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
Provide business analysis and development work to the surveillance IT platform.
Provide such support to the bank's internal control and compliance stakeholders.
Provide regular update to the team's manager on key progresses and challenges.
Foster and Maintain a smooth working relationship with all stakeholders both in APAC and at Head Office level.
Work towards operational excellence, ensuring all risks are detected and escalated, and mitigants are put in place.
Continuously review and propose control framework on the Surveillance IT platform, ensuring the platform's stability.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies and guidelines.
Ensure adequate tests are executed and evidenced before changes are deployed in production.
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experiences in business analysis and development work on communication surveillance platforms.
Strong command of SQL, Python/Scripting, and Java with strong ability to analyze and summarize large data sets.
Detailed knowledge on the full lifecycle of communication surveillance.
Demonstrated ability in working with regional and head office teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skillset with the ability to manage upward, laterally stakeholders.
Specific Qualifications:
Excellent command of English. Cantonese and French are considered a plus.
