Yves Martrenchar appointed Chief Operating Officer of BNP Paribas Retail Banking

Yves Martrenchar has been appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO) of BNP Paribas Retail Banking. A member of the Executive Committee of BNP Paribas Retail Banking, he retains his position as head of Distribution, Markets and Solutions and also supervises the Retail Banking Cross-Disciplinary IT, Operations and Processes Platforms, Human Resources, Brand and Communication missions.

Having graduated from the Ecole polytechnique, Yves Martrenchar, 53, joined the group in 1980. He has held various positions within the network in France, including deputy managing director in the North-Picardy network and then head of the Lille group of branches. He subsequently joined the Domestic Banking Division, after which he was appointed head of Distribution, Products and Markets of French Retail Banking (BDDF). In 2003 he was made head of BDDF Retail, and then in 2009 head of Distribution, Markets and Solutions for BNP Paribas Retail Banking.
