BNP Paribas is pleased to announce the transfer of Simon Orchard to its Singapore office where he will assume the roles of Head of Loan Syndication in South East Asia. In his new role, Simon will report to Clarence T'ao, head of Loan Syndications & Trading for Asia.
Simon, 38, transfers from the firm's London office where he was responsible for European Acquisition Finance and Media & Telecom Loan syndications. He joined BNP Paribas in 1997 from Dai-Ichi Kangyo Bank where he spent 6 years working in Corporate Relationship Banking. Prior to that he spent 9 years at Natwest.

Paul Gibbon, who recently joined the European Loan Syndications & Trading team from Scotia Bank will assume responsibility for Media & Telecom Loan syndications reporting to Julian van Kan, head of Loan Syndications & Trading for Europe, Africa & Middle East.
