Last Secondary Offering of First Hawaiian Common Stock

On 29 January 2019, First Hawaiian, Inc. (“FHI”) announced the launch of a new secondary offering of shares of its common stock (the “Secondary Offering”).
The Secondary Offering comprises all the remaining stake of 24.9 million shares to be sold by an affiliate of BNP Paribas.
Following completion of the Secondary Offering, it is expected that BNP Paribas will have fully exited its stake.
It is expected that this transaction will have a negligible positive impact on the Group CET1 ratio in the first quarter 2019.
A registration statement relating to FHI’s common stock has been filed with, and declared effective by, the Securities and Exchange Commission. The offering has been made only by means of a prospectus.
