Pascal Boris has been appointed Head of Territory for Paribas in the UK with immediate effect. Mr Boris succeeds Robert de Metz - a member of the Paribas Executive Board - who is leaving the bank.
Mr Boris has been head of Corporate Banking in the UK and Nordic countries for Paribas London since 1992. He has also been responsible for European Syndication and Loan Trading and jointly responsible (with Andrew Pisker, Global Head of Bonds) for Global Securitisation.
He joined Paribas in 1988 and was head of Fixed Income and co-head of Capital Markets in Switzerland for two years before moving to Paris to supervise Paribas' North American network. Before joining Paribas Mr Boris spent the first 13 years of his career with the Chase Manhattan Bank NA in Paris, New York, Geneva and London in various positions.
Mr Boris is a graduate of the Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC) Paris, New York University and the London Business School.
