Management changes: Management Board membership expanded to 11 members

BGL BNP Paribas becomes 100% owner of BNP Paribas Luxembourg

At its meeting on 25 February 2010, the Board of Directors of BGL BNP Paribas appointed the following new members to the bank's Management Board: Patrice Crochet, Dominique Goulem, Luc Henrard, Anne Kayser, Carlo Lessel and Kik Schneider.

These appointments will be effective from 1 March 2010.

Following these appointments, the membership of the BGL BNP Paribas Management Board is as follows:

This expansion of the Management Board brings the bank's governance into line with the practices of the BNP Paribas group.
With the new membership of the Management Board, the bank aims to favour, in a collegial spirit, the personal sense of responsibility of those in charge of main areas of business, as well as a cross-functional approach to action and the necessary mutual trust.

Drawing strength from the commitment and recognized professional competence of its members as well as the entire staff, the new structure of the Management Board will make it easier to deploy a demanding industrial plan and achieve ambitious targets in the service of clients.

At the same meeting, the members of the Board of Directors were also informed that, as part of the implementation of the industrial plan approved at its meeting on 25 November 2009, BGL BNP Paribas is as at 25 February 2010 the sole shareholder of BNP Paribas Luxembourg. The association process is to continue, with a merger of the two entities planned before the end of 2010.
