BNP Paribas Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) announces the arrival of Marc Carlos. Reporting to Jean-Yves Fillion, member of the BNP Paribas CIB Executive Committee, Marc Carlos takes over responsibility for the following European countries: the Nordic countries(1), Central and Eastern Europe(2), Turkey, Netherlands, Ireland, Portugal, as well as Israel. He will be assisted in this role by Jean-Yves Moiron.
Marc Carlos will also supervise the following teams in charge of client relations in Europe: Investment Banking Energy & Commodities Europe, headed by Lodewijk Spoorenberg, Financial Institutions Group Europe, headed by Julian van Kan and Corporate & Transaction Banking Europe (CTBE), whose Head is Rudi Collin.
Prior to this appointment, Marc Carlos was from 2009 a member of the Executive Committee of Crédit Agricole S.A., where he was Head of Payment Systems and Flows. During a career with the Crédit Agricole group that began in 2002, he also headed its international Retail Banking arm and its factoring subsidiary Eurofactor. Previously, after beginning his professional life as an engineer with the SAE group and then spending several years in France's Ministry for Industry and Research, he occupied various management positions in the Lacroix group.
