Laurent Tréca (56), formerly head of Business Development at BNP Paribas, has been appointed head of the "Leasing With Services" business line and will soon be named Chairman of Arval PHH.
The "Leasing With Services" business line at BNP Paribas comprises corporate fleet management (Arval PHH), IT equipment management (Arius), and industrial vehicle management (Artegy). Arval PHH, a BNP Paribas subsidiary, is currently Europe's leader in automobile fleet management, with 613,000 vehicles managed in 16 countries. In this respect, it is one of the pillars of BNP Paribas's European expansion in the field of corporate financial services.
Mr. Tréca succeeds François Dambrine (54), who has joined the general management of the International Retail and Financial Services of BNP Paribas, which is headed by Pierre Mariani. Within this core business, Mr. Dambrine will supervise the business of the BancWest group, a retail banking subsidiary operating principally in California, Hawaii, and in four other states in the Western United States.
