Jean Nunez, 42, Polytechnique (1979), is appointed COO for Corporate and Investment Banking in BNP Paribas. In this capacity, he is responsible for all functions except Human resources, Ethics & Compliance and Internal Audit.
Jean Nunez joined Paribas in 1982 as project manager within the Organisation Department. He later was appointed to the Financial Management Division, in charge of the equity investment portfolio.
In 1996, he became Deputy Head of Real Estate, before being appointed Head of Financial and Management Accounting in 1997.
In 1999, at the time of the merger which created BNP Paribas, he was appointed Head of Finance for Corporate and Investment Banking.
