BNP Paribas today announced that Francois Artignan and David Arlettaz have relocated to the firm's London office from Paris. Both Francois and David will retain their current responsibilities and report to Philippe Vuarchex, Global Head of Telecom and Media Finance.
Francois has been in his present role in Paris since 1998, prior to joining the firm he spent from 1987 to 1997 at Credit Lyonnais. David has spent six years with BNP Paribas, he was based in Hong Kong from 1995 to 1998 and has been in Paris since 1999.
Commenting on the move, Philippe Vuarchex said: "It was our goal to strengthen our London team. Having a fully integrated Media and Telecom finance team solidly established in London and Paris will further consolidate our market presence, not just in the UK, but across Europe."
BNP Paribas' Global Media and Telecoms Finance team has a headcount of 70 professionals and is part of the Structured Finance Group headed by Michel Konczaty.
