Chantal Mazzacurati has been appointed head of BNP Paribas Asset Management (BNP PAM)'s Alternative Investment Management and Structured and Indexed Management teams, as well as being made responsible for Overlay Asset Management, a BNP PAM subsidiary, specialising in currency management. Reporting directly to Gilles Glicenstein, she will become a member of the Management Committee of BNP Paribas Asset Management.
Chantal will also be in charge of Financial Communication and Investor Relations for the Asset Management and Services division (AMS). She will report directly to Alain Papiasse and will become a member of the Executive Committee of the AMS division.
Chantal, 55, is a graduate of the Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC), and holds a “Master of Arts in Law & Diplomacy”. She joined the group in 1973 where she held various positions in the Investment Banking, and was promoted Head of Global Equities in 1995 within the Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) Division.
