BNP Paribas Securities Services obtains ISO 9001 certification for Fund Administration activity in France

London / Paris - BNP Paribas Securities Services has received ISO 9001 certification for its Fund Administration operations in France, an activity carried out by affiliate company BNP Paribas Asset Servicing. The certification covers Fund Administration and Legal Reporting, and was awarded following an audit by the certification agency BVQI.

ISO 9001 is an internationally-recognised, independent standard that attests to the quality of an organisation's management, operating procedures and internal controls. This is the second certification for BNP Paribas Securities Services in France, as it already has ISO 9001 certification for its Fund Compliance and Trustee activity.

Commenting on the certification, Pierre Vrielinck, Head of BNP Paribas Asset Servicing in France said: “The quality of data remains an area of major concern for asset management companies. Obtaining ISO 9001 certification demonstrates our commitment to respond to this concern by adopting measures that allow us to ensure a high level of quality and operational integrity.”

Philippe Ricard, Global Head of Fund Service Operations for BNP Paribas Securities Services, added: "After having completed the first fund administration and middle office outsourcing transaction in France, ISO 9001 certification underlines our commitment to excellence in serving the asset management industry. This is a clear endorsement of our operations in France, as well as a tangible confirmation of the progress we are making in rolling out the most exacting quality standards across all our operational units worldwide.”
