BNP PARIBAS Securities (Japan) limited appoints HIKARU OGATA General Manager of Tokyo Branch

Tokyo — BNP Paribas Securities (Japan) Limited today announced appointment of Hikaru Ogata as General Manager of its Tokyo Branch, effective January 1, 2007. Mr. Ogata will be responsible for supervising and promoting the day-to-day business operations of the Branch. Yusuke Yasuda, the former General Manager, will remain in his other role as Chief Country Representative for Japan.
