BNP Paribas: Laurent David is leaving his position within the BNP Paribas group

After a career in public administration and within BNP Paribas, Laurent David is leaving his position within the Group to devote himself to new professional projects.

After first senior management positions at BNP Paribas Cardif and BNP Paribas Personal Finance, Laurent David has held the position of Deputy Chief Operating Officer of the BNP Paribas Group, since 2021.

As part of the GTS plan, Laurent David has led cross-functional projects to accelerate the industrialisation of the Group's IT platforms and has continued to rationalise the real estate portfolio, both in France and internationally. He has also made a significant contribution to the professionalisation of the procurement division.

He also contributed to the implementation of development plans around Artificial Intelligence that will enable the Group to pursue its strategy in this field.

Jean-Laurent Bonnafé, Director and Chief Executive Officer of BNP Paribas, said: "I salute Laurent David's constant commitment and contribution to the Group's objectives and wish him all the best in his future endeavours."
