BNP Paribas has hired Tom Kennedy from Deutsche Bank to join its Equity Syndicate desk in London. He will join in September as a senior member of the London Equity Syndicate desk, reporting to Jean-Marie Guillaume, Global Head of Equity Syndicate.
Kennedy, 33, was a Vice President on Deutsche Bank's Equity Syndicate desk and had worked there since 1995. Prior to that he had worked for a year in the Equity division at Goldman Sachs. In between 1986 and 1994, he worked in Equities at SG Warburg, during which time he rose to the rank of Director.
Commenting on this appointment, Jean-Marie Guillaume said: "We are delighted that Tom has decided to join the equity syndicate desk. His experience and technical knowledge will help us achieve our goal of cementing BNP Paribas' position as one of the leading European investment banks."
