BNP Paribas hires Olivier Haguenauer to join its European Equity Management Committee

BNP Paribas is pleased to announce the appointment of Olivier Haguenauer who joins the firm's equities division. He will be responsible for the Paris operation and for the equities business in all the Euronext countries. He will also join BNP Paribas' European Equity Management Committee, reporting to Laurent Cadieu, Head of European Equities.

Olivier, 39, joins the firm from Morgan Stanley where he spent 11 years in Paris, London and New York. Having held a number of roles during his career at Morgan Stanley, he left as a Managing Director and Head of Continental European Equity Sales, based in London. At Morgan Stanley he helped to establish the Paris office selling pan-European equities to leading French institutions. He started his career in London spending one year at Credit Lyonnais and another year at Flemings. Olivier holds degrees from French Universities as well as an MBA from the University of Chicago.

On his arrival, the European Equity Management Committee will comprise Laurent Cadieu, Olivier Haguenauer, Joanna Darlington, Head of European Equity Research, Tim Draper, Head of European Equity Sales and Chris Hipkins, Head of European Equity Trading.
