BNP Paribas and FIBA Holding have announced that both parties have decided to continue their negotiations

BNP Paribas and FIBA Holding have announced that following the discussions that have taken place since June, both parties have decided to continue their negotiations in order to finalize an agreement regarding the acquisition of Finansbank's domestic banking business as well as certain domestic affiliates in the near future. For this reason, the parties have elected to extend the period of exclusivity and confidentiality through 15 January 2002.
