BNP Paribas Equity and Derivatives strengthens structured products salesforce with the appointment of Stephane Goursa

BNP Paribas' Equity & Derivatives business (EQD) is pleased to announce the appointment of Stephane Goursat as Head of UK / Ireland / South Africa Structured Products Sales. Stephane is based in London and reports to Jean-Eric Pacini, Head of Structured Products Sales for the London EQD platform.

Stephane joins BNP Paribas from Societe Generale in London, where he spent four years building up regional business. In his role at BNP Paribas, Stephane will run three teams, which are all of strategic focus for the bank in the year ahead: Retail and Private banks, own account clients and fund of fund managers.

Stephane also has an additional mandate on the London EQD platform. With his recognised expertise, Stephane is perfectly placed to help meet BNP Paribas' aggressive targets for the Fund Derivatives business. In this capacity, Stephane reports to Stephane Liot, Global Head of Fund Derivatives.

Commenting on Stephane's appointment, Jean-Eric Pacini said: ‘Stephane brings to BNP Paribas both extensive experience and a proven track record in the UK market. His appointment will help to accelerate EQD's ambitious growth plans for 2007 and enhance our core structured products business.'
