BNP Paribas, for 12 years a partner in the Stade Français Tennis Junior Open, is becoming the Title Sponsor of the tournament.
This competition will now be named "BNP Paribas Cup - Stade Français Paris"
Nicknamed the "Junior Roland-Garros", the BNP Paribas Cup brings together young talent 14 years old and younger. Many champions have played on the clay courts of this tournament. Justine Henin-Hardenne, French Open champion last year, won the BNP Paribas Cup in 1996.
Considered one of the best international juniors tournaments, last year the BNP Paribas Cup hosted 60 nations and more than 7,000 players. This year the young champions will have the privilege of playing the final on Roland-Garros court No. 1 on July 11, 2004.
