BNP Paribas CIB decides to create a new activity called “Distressed Finance Group” and appoints Alain Dib as Global Head of DFG, reporting to Frederic Janbon, Global Head of Fixed Income, and Dominique Rémy, Global Head of Financing businesses. Alain has 16 years of experience in Leveraged Finance and High Yield working with financial sponsors, corporate and institutional investors. He was most recently co-head of European High Yield Capital Markets.
In the US, Monique Hill will spearhead the effort and will be reporting to Alain Dib. Monique has over 30 years of diversified banking experience at BNP Paribas in the US and in Europe spent in leveraged and structured finance, restructuring and work-out, credit and counterparty risk management as well as trading. She was most recently in charge of distressed trading / special situations in the US.
