BNP Paribas Assurance interfaces new “Sustainable Development” section with Facebook Connect
The new site reflects the international scope, robust foundations, strategy and vision of BNP Paribas Assurance, along with its corporate citizenship commitments. The new “Sustainable Development” section of the corporate website has been enriched by integrating Facebook Connect technology.
This is the first time Facebook Connect has been integrated on a corporate website in France. Introduced in November 2008, Facebook Connect enables the creation of collaborative platforms on websites.
In addition to access to corporate information, visitors to the site can communicate and share opinions related to sustainable development issues, both with one another and with BNP Paribas Assurance.
This technology enables discussions and exchanges of opinions on the subject via the Facebook social network too.
BNP Paribas Assurance has taken this initiative to heighten awareness of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) commitments while at the same time boosting brand recognition on the Web. The company has pursued an active CSR policy since 2006.
Facebook is the world's largest social networking website, with 350 million¹ active users worldwide, including over 12 million² in France. This innovation means that they can all connect to the BNP Paribas Assurance via Facebook Connect.
Cardif.com transformed into complete information portal
Cardif, the insurance unit of BNP Paribas Assurance and the brand for savings and protection solutions marketed via multiple channels in France and other countries, has completed a major revamp of its website.
The cardif.com website has been redesigned as a comprehensive information portal. The site contains an explanation of its businesses and clearly and quickly redirects visitors to the sites of international subsidiaries, based on the information they request.
The new Cardif.com site is emblematic of the company's commitments—expressed in the baseline “Ensuring your trust”—as well as its international dimension.
