BNP Paribas : approximately 80% of CVRs bought back

BNP Paribas announces that, after the buy-backs it has carried out, a total of 56,174,366 CVRs have been bought back as of 22.1.2002, representing 79.9% of the total CVRs issued.
BNP Paribas will continue its buy-backs in a selective manner, depending on market opportunites.
