BNP Paribas appoints Vittorio Ogliengo as Deputy General Manager of BNL and Executive Chairman of CIB Italy

Vittorio Ogliengo will be appointed Deputy General Manager of BNL by the Board of Directors as of March 1st and Executive Chairman of BNP Paribas Corporate and Institutional Banking Italy. He will be responsible for developing the Bank’s corporate and institutional client base in Italy. Vittorio Ogliengo will report to Andrea Munari, CEO of BNL and Country Head for BNP Paribas in Italy, and to Yannick Jung, Head of Global Banking for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) within CIB. He will be a member of BNL’s Executive Committee and of the Global Banking EMEA Board.

Biography:

Vittorio Ogliengo is a very experienced senior manager with a strong professional background developed in Investment Banking, Corporate Banking and Industrial sectors. 

He began his career in 1983 as an auditor. Between 1985 and 1988 he has held several roles in Corporate Banking, Corporate Finance and Investment Banking at Citibank. In 1988, he joined the Fiat Group and became Head of the Finance Department and General Management of Fiat Deutschland. In 1994, Vittorio joined Barilla. He was appointed CFO and CEO of Barilla Holding with full responsibilities for the subsidiaries. In 2005, he joined Unicredit Group where he held several important positions within the organization. He was notably appointed as Head of Corporate and Investment Banking in 2013.
