BNP Paribas has recruited Paul Deslandes and Michael Anthony Webb to join the Equity Trading team in London on the Cash side. Paul Deslandes will be Head of the Cash Equity Trading activity in London and will be managing a team of 12 traders.
Paul Deslandes joins BNP Paribas from West LB Panmure. Before that, Deslandes was Managing Director and Head of Equity Trading with RABOBANK in London, after having spent 13 years at UBS in London where he was Head of European Trading.
Reporting to Chris Hipkins, Global Head of Cash Equity Trading, Paul Deslandes will share the Deputy role together with Ray Fernandez, Head of the US Cash Equity Trading team.
Michael Anthony Webb joins BNP Paribas as Senior Trader, after having spent more than 25 years in the equity trading business, of which almost 18 years at UBS.
These appointments constitute for BNP Paribas the final step towards the set-up of a powerful team in Cash Equity Trading.
