BNP Paribas is pleased announce the appointment Chandrahas Deshpande as Chief Operating Officer for Indian equities. He will be based in Mumbai and report to Pankaj Talwar, Head of Indian Equities and Shefali Shah Head of Investment Banking, India.
Chandrahas joins the firm from Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein where he was head of financial control and operations for India since 1995. Chandrahas is a qualified chartered accountant and obtained a degree in commerce from the Bombay University in 1984
