BNP Paribas : Appointment of two Vice-Chairmen

On 23 May 2000, on Michel Pébereau's recommandation, the BNP Paribas Board of Directors approved the appointment of Mr Jean-Louis Beffa (Chairman and CEO of Saint-Gobain) and Mr Michel François-Poncet (former Chairman of the supervisory board of Paribas) as Vice-Chairmen.
