Head of North American Corporate Foreign Exchange Sales
BNP Paribas today confirmed its commitment to being a leading player in Foreign Exchange with the hire of Sharon Haspel as BNP Paribas' Head of North American Corporate Foreign Exchange Sales. She will report to Nigel Babbage, BNP Paribas' Head of Foreign Exchange in New York.
Haspel joins BNP Paribas after 12 years as Vice President in foreign exchange at Chase Manhattan Bank in New York where she focused on FX and derivatives marketing. Most recently, Haspel was responsible for marketing all foreign exchange and derivatives products to clients of Chase Manhattan Bank's Chemical Industry Group.
"This appointment represents a significant addition to our Foreign Exchange Desk," stated Babbage. "Haspel's appointment reinforces BNP Paribas' coverage and services to our corporate clients in North America."
Reporting directly to Haspel will be Rose Noritake, Head of East Coast Corporate Foreign Exchange Sales, Alain Pigois, Head of West Coast Corporate Foreign Exchange Sales, and Francois Barriere, Head of Canadian Corporate Foreign Exchange Sales.
