Laure Morsy is appointed manager at FIG International and David Aubin at FIG Europe.
BNP Paribas has appointed two new managers in the coverage of its Corporate and Investment Banking core business that serves institutional and financial clients, FIG (Financial Institution Group).
Laure Morsy becomes manager at FIG International, based in Paris, reporting to Ambroise Laurent, global manager of FIG.
Laure started her career in 1988 within General Inspection at Société Générale as an auditor and Head of audit team. After a three year experience as senior credit analyst at group risk management she was appointed senior relationship manager within FIG in 1996. Laure joined BNP Paribas in 2000 as a FIG Banker to develop relationship with major French insurance clients. Since 2006 she has been Deputy Head and Head of Business Development and Organisation within FIG.
David Aubin has been appointed manager of FIG Europe, also based in Paris, reporting to Ambroise Laurent.
David started his career in 1992 as Tax Lawyer at Coopers & Lybrand Luxemburg, then in 1995 at Arthur Andersen in Paris. In 1997 he joined the Equity Derivatives division of Société Générale and took the leadership of the European Strategic Equity & Derivatives team in 2000. In 2005 he joined the Debt Capital Markets division of Société Générale with the mission to set up a European DCM Insurance (and Reinsurance) team. David fostered a cross-department team with a focus on debt advisory, structured acquisition finance, and innovative risk transfer solutions. He joined BNP Paribas as FIG Europe manager in 2007.
