Published On 15.11.2011
Registration is open!

For the fourth consecutive year, BNP Paribas is to run in 2011 an online contest intended to increase its brand awareness in universities worldwide. Entitled “Ace Manager – The Fourth Set”, this international competition is open to all students in higher education – those currently studying for a “Bachelor's”, or “Master's” degree – who are under 26 years of age.

“Ace Manager – The Fourth Set”, designed by BNP Paribas bank staff, is part of the overall BNP Paribas strategy for improving brand awareness and enhancing the attractiveness of the Group among young people. BNP Paribas has set the goal of branding itself as one of the most attractive employers among students worldwide.

THE TASK
The game takes place in the fictional town of Universe City where an extraordinary discovery triggers a series of unprecedented events…

During the online phase of the contest, the participating teams, each composed of three students, will test their ability by performing various banking jobs as part of different business task linked to the world of tennis.

During the online phase of the game, the participating teams will test their professional capacities for the different activities of the bank through several "business cases". Their mission: find the best solutions for their clients in order to help assist them in their development.

To fulfil the task, the contestants will have to meet numerous challenges linked to the BNP Paribas Group's three core business areas - retail banking, investment solutions, and commercial and investment banking.

CONTEST TIMETABLE
This international competition will be run in English, beginning with an initial online phase from 20 February to 20 March 2012 on a dedicated website: acemanager.bnpparibas.com.

“Ace Manager – The Fourth Set” will then finish with a grand final between the five best teams in Paris in mid-April 2012. Teams will have to face a final challenge in front of an expert jury composed of universities teachers and members of BNP Paribas top management.
Students may register for the contest as from 15 November 2011, until 15 February at: acemanager.bnpparibas.com.

THE PRIZES
All finalists will receive cash prizes as follows:
-Winning team: €9,000
-Runner-up team: €3,000
-Third-placed team: €1,500
All finalists will also receive tickets to a tennis event.

BNP Paribas will offer every member of the three top-placed team broad opportunities of international internships within the Group's three core business areas.

In its drive to enhance brand awareness and the attractiveness of the Group among students from the best universities and schools across the world, BNP Paribas is capitalising on its links with tennis, already closely associated with the brand after nearly 40 years of global sponsoring of the sport, coupled with its strong capacity to offer interesting career prospects to new talent. Over 60% of BNP Paribas staff and clients are located outside France. The Group recruits right across the world among people of varied profiles, and provides jobs in more than 300 different business lines.
