Young tennis hopeful, Félix Auger-Aliassime, has launched a programme called #FAAPointsForChange in partnership with BNP Paribas and the NGO CARE. Keen to link his sporting performance with a personal pledge related to his family history and upbringing, Félix wants to make his career more meaningful through this unusual new programme. The main purpose behind #FAAPointsForChange is to contribute to the education and protection of children in Togo.
The wish to have a positive impact on society has led the young player to get involved in a cause that is very important to him: building a better future for young people in Togo, his father’s country of origin, by supporting the EduChange programme set up by the NGO CARE. This is what the #FAAPointsForChange programme, launched in partnership with BNP Paribas, is all about.
Each point won by Félix Auger-Aliassime during an official match will contribute to the EduChange programme, which works to help young people in Togo. The benefits of the programme will support thousands of children from the Kara region, giving them access to education, especially through sport, and protecting them against any form of violence.
To keep track of this unusual initiative throughout the year, wearetennis.bnpparibas will put up a counter displaying all the points scored by Félix Auger-Aliassime and the amount of money raised for the programme.
