BNP Paribas: the year 2023 in 12 key figures!

By 2030, BNP Paribas will have completed more than 80% of the transition of its energy financing actvities to low-carbon.

This year, BNP Paribas CIB welcomed around 400 graduates from various backgrounds worldwide within our main businesses – Global Markets, Global Banking – and Technology. The graduate programmes offer early careers talent valuable hands-on experience and international exposure in one or more of our business lines. 

As part of a strategic partnership, Jaguar Land Rover and BNP Paribas are launching new mobility products and financing services across nine European markets: Germany, Italy, France, Spain, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Austria and Portugal.

It is estimated that access to water for all will require investments of over $1,000 billions over the next decade. A colossal sum, but essential to guarantee the worldwide availability of this vital resource.

Housing’s energy footprint is a major challenge for the ecological transition. In 5 European countries, BNP Paribas offers dedicated solutions to its individual customers. These new "beyond banking" offers are helping to decarbonise its portfolio of residential mortgage loans. They are being handled by banking advisors trained in energy renovation and who are truly "trusted companions".

Accessible through the "My Accounts" application and the "Mabanque" website, Mobility4you offers a personalized experience that adapts to the needs of each user to build their mobility project: travel requirements, budget to be allocated, environmental impact. Based on these criteria, the platform proposes a selection of turnkey offers to the customer, including mobility solutions chosen from over 6,500 available vehicles, new/recent and used, as well as soft mobility solutions, such as bicycles or electric scooters.

The Task Force on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) has taken a major step forward in efforts to fight against the loss of biodiversity: it has published 14 final recommendations to help companies better analyse, manage and report their biodiversity-related impacts and dependencies, and thus work toward nature-based solutions.

Thanks to its archives, representing 7 linear kilometers, BNP Paribas is as much an actor as a witness of the history transformations that have occurred in society and the economy worldwide, over the past two centuries.
