The General Management and the Executive Committee

The General Management of BNP Paribas is composed of a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) plus two Chief Operating Officers (COO) and two Deputy Chief Operating Officers.

As Chief Executive Officer, Jean-Laurent Bonnafé bears responsibility for the management of the Group and, for this purpose, is invested with extensive powers. Accordingly, all operational activities and Group functions fall under his direct responsibility.

The Executive Committee brings together the General Management as well as 14 other members - Heads of businesses and central functions. They meet at least once a week.

Yannick Jung

Head of Corporate & Institutional Banking Global Banking

Career

Yannick Jung joined BNP in 1997 in Paris, where he worked at Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB) on structured finance and then on the media and telecommunications sector. In 2007, he was appointed Tokyo Branch Manager for 5 years. Since 2012, Yannick Jung has been based in Paris and has held various positions within CIB including Head of Coverage for Corporates in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Head of Corporate Clients Financing and Advisory EMEA.

In 2017, he was appointed Head of Global Banking EMEA.

Since 2023, he has been covering the global operations of Global Banking in EMEA, Asia-Pacific and Americas as Head of Corporate & Institutional Banking Global Banking.
