The General Management and the Executive Committee

The General Management of BNP Paribas is composed of a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) plus two Chief Operating Officers (COO) and two Deputy Chief Operating Officers.

As Chief Executive Officer, Jean-Laurent Bonnafé bears responsibility for the management of the Group and, for this purpose, is invested with extensive powers. Accordingly, all operational activities and Group functions fall under his direct responsibility.

The Executive Committee brings together the General Management as well as 14 other members - Heads of businesses and central functions. They meet at least once a week.

Elise Hermant

Head of Communications

Career
Elise Hermant began her career in various ministerial cabinets in charge of work and social relations and then solidarity. She then joined Havas Paris as Consulting Director for major corporate clients. In 2013, she joined ADP Group as Head of the Media and Reputation Division, then Director of Communications and member of the Executive Committee in 2018.

Since 2022, Elise Hermant has been Head of Communications for the BNP Paribas Group. In July 2024, she joined BNP Paribas’ Executive Committee.
