Vice President, Corporate Credit Management

Corporate Credit Management Brazil (“CCM”) is a transversal Team in support of the approximately 300 Corporate Clients Groups of Brazil platform including Brazilian (approximately 50 groups) and multinational groups. The CCM Team works to ensure coverage, monitoring & execution of all counterparty risk requests for the Corporate platform. 

Main responsibilities:

  • Managed credit relationships for Brazil’s Large Corporate & VPG clients, overseeing the full credit lifecycle—from origination and facility renewals to amendments, waivers and quarterly monitoring.
  • Produced in‑depth credit memoranda and analytical packages for new deals, annual reviews, and portfolio monitoring, incorporating:
     • Detailed analysis of full‑year/quarterly financial statements, covenants, and historical series.
     • Quantitative ratio modeling and forward‑looking projections at company and sector level.
     • Qualitative insights from lender presentations, press releases, rating agency and equity analyst reports.
  • Evaluated risk‑related rating changes, recovery‑at‑default scenarios and collateral adequacy; applied regulatory rating frameworks to each facility.
  • Informed senior stakeholders of macro‑economic, sector and market trends, recommending actions to mitigate emerging headwinds and capitalize on tailwinds.
  • Actively participated in deal teams, presenting credit analyses at Credit Committee meetings and driving new‑originations for prospects, new clients and existing relationships.
  • Maintained comprehensive portfolio reporting—including loan exposure, regulatory compliance and ad‑hoc internal/external reports.
  • Coordinated cross‑regional strategy with BNPP teams across North America, EMEA, LATAM and APAC, supporting sector‑wide initiatives and client‑specific projects.
  • Liaised with internal and external auditors (Bacen, ECB, FED) during loan examinations to ensure compliance and audit readiness.
  • Mentored junior analysts, fostering a collaborative team environment and driving overall team performance.

Position Requirements:

  • Fluent in Portuguese and English (written and oral)
  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or Business Administration
  • Master´s Degree (Finance or MBA a plus)
  • Solid knowledge of financial statement analysis and fundamental corporate credit analysis (IFRS-Local standards knowledge)
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Corporate Banking Environment, general banking products and banking policies, procedures and methodologies
  • Advanced projection modeling skills
  • Strong business writing skills
  • Proficiency in Word and Excel 
  • Experience in Banking/Financial environment
